MarcellusGasInfo Range Resource rep insisting his frack fluid is “safe”

Despite the fact that Range Resources has disclosed publicly the toxic chemicals used in their fracking solutions, the company’s General Counsel David Poole implies, in a public forum, that fracking fluid is safe. This video is from a November 2010 planning and zoning meeting in Texas.

I guess Poole didn’t read the memo…. But I remember it because Range made a big frackin’ deal about posting this stuff on their website. (and how it made up only a fraction of the total fracking fluid. But 1 percent of 5 million gallons is still a lot…)
